18 of 20 people found the following review helpful. Why not re-release the entire book. Why cut it up and re-release it in pieces. Not at all fan friendly. By Donna I hate this new way authors cheat readers. I wish I had realized the book was torn into three little pieces. Its one thing when its a series but this is not a series. its one book torn into pieces to get a few more $$$$$$$. At least she did release it in good size chunks. Some are in 30 or 40 page pieces. They try to pass some off as serials. I would have paid to get the entire book but I wont pay for pieces of a book.
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Hmmm By TJ7109md Have to say I was ticked off throughout the majority of this book. I did not like the male lead at all or any of his family. As to Sasha's so called friends can only remember karma is real (been there, done that). I was so hoping that a knight in shining armor would appear for Sasha and that butt head was just a temporary diversion. Glad she gather her strength and recognized her self-worth to tell money bags to pound sand. Since there is a second installment I hope she gives him a terrible time. As for Dina and Slade I can't imagine how bumpy the rode will be given they are dealing with an Asian arranged.

A series is the Mob Boss by Mallory or the Blake Boys by Rhonda Laurel. It appears the author had a book decided to just chop it up in parts and call it a series. The hero and the heroine are not likeable in this book. Sasha is just too much of a doormat. She is this college graduate about to finish her master's degree in International Relations but acts like she's in high school. Dmitri is an arrogant jerk. He tells her she's not his type but she's like a little puppy starving for his scraps of affection. The author wants us to believe she is this innocent that had a crappy loveless life. She comes across as a spineless wimp. When she finally shows some semblance of assertiveness the book ends. The supporting characters are too cartoonish. Dmitri's father is so evil and controling he disowns his son. But he shows up to berate his disowned son and to belittle Sasha. Ugh and she takes it. Perhaps the H and h will be redeemed in part 2. Good thing this was available through Kindle Unlimited. If not, I would have requested a refund and would not consider reading part 2. Authors seeking faithful readers need to stop this now.
