Oscar Lozada is repulsive, and he likes it that way. His apartment is always a wreck, he works at a sewage plant, and he’s an abrasive jerk to just about everyone. When he's not out drinking and hooking up with strangers, he trolls people on the Internet for lulz. His life changes when he finds out a victim of his trolling lives right next door. Noah is super hot and disarmingly nice. In spite of himself, Oscar starts to fall for him. All he has to do is make sure Noah never discovers the truth behind his trollish ways. ***** This book was written in collaboration with the Goodreads M/M Romance Group's annual Don't Read in the Closet story event. All proceeds will be donated to The San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center.

Wonderful, Quirky, and Fun -- Along With Lessons Learned By Daniel Bowen Oscar is the 'Troll' in this story, well named after that famous puppet that lives in his garbage can. Once I recognized that connection, I knew I'd love this story. So Oscar works for a waste management company in San Diego. Like his namesake he is grumpy, speaks his mind, enjoys causing a wave -- Whether in word or in deed. He has this me against the world mentality but all that changes when he gets to know Noah. Both Oscar and Noah have never had a boyfriend so they're blind coming into this relationship. They have this interesting connection with no firm boundaries. The contrasts are there: Noah's innocence was offset by Oscar's worldliness. Noah comes from a religious background. It defines him. That was why Noah could forgive and do it so quickly. This story is about redemption, too. Oscar is learning his own worth and I only wished he took up that opportunity to attend school. Other than that this is a wonderful quirky fun read and a few lessons learned. Well worth reading. - Dan's Wife

The main character is at first unlikable, but over time I just fell in love with the story. I was hooked by the end of the first chapter. I cant wait to read more. I could really relate to everything that was going on because it was happening in this day and age. Oscar is the troll and Noah is the troll whisperer. I love Noah, he is so cute. It's definitely worth reading.

Unexpectedly fell in love By Jane This is one of those stories you wish were longer but fear that if it actually were longer, it would lose a part of its charm. In a way this story was the perfect length but at the same time I wished that it were longer because Oscar and Noah together ... I have no other word to describe it other than cute. Those guys really were the cutest. This book's/short story's main character/hero is one of the most repulsive humans I've met in fiction and yet he's also unbearably sweet and it makes no sense whatsoever. I should loathe him and his actions but I don't. I genuinely liked him despite his flaws. I wanted to know more about him, his actions, his feelings, his life in general. So if you're not really into the story in first chapter, do continue and you may still fall head over heels in love with this story in the following chapters.Despite the fact that Noah was the character most people should actually relate to instead of Oscar, he's not as interesting a character in my eyes. But I did want to know more about him as well. It's just that Oscar was more interesting and he intrigued me more than Noah did. I bet a lot of the readers will love Noah as well. :)I am now definitely intrigued about Trevor's other works.
