This is a novella length book. Some helpful meddling from a new friend at a local bookstore, along with some questionable behavior on the part of Jess’s girlfriend, turn Ariadne’s ho-hum holiday plans on their head.

5 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Right Under Your Nose By trekker The story was written well with minimal errors. I just could not get invested with the Characters. Ariadne came off as a whiny petulant woman. Yes I understand she had something to be depressed about. However it was just too much drama for me. Some of her actions I would expect from a young teen not a 26 year old with a career as a pastry chef. Jess wasn't much better. And how the story ended really had me questioning the validity of Jess's feelings if he can do a 180 about his girlfriend and Ariadne at the same time. I do have to agree with Ariadne how her family reacted toward her after the theater incident. I would have been mad at my family too. The only thing that saved the story for me was the paranormal aspect of the story that gave it the Christmas Spirit. I would have liked more about the book store owner and more interaction between the main characters and him.
