Please make book 2 as this was really well developed and I want more dragon and human time together. Right when they were getting closer and the dragon was able to speak it kinda just ended a chapter after that. It was really good book am looking forward to book 2.

And even then left me wondering for quite a while where it was going as it seemed the writer had a lot of groundwork he wanted to lay. Then just as it seemed to really be picking up and getting to the point, the first book was over. There is obviously more to come to actually get to Kyra's adventure, but there are enough other players and unanswered questions and motivations that it's hard to see where it is going. Looking back at the end of the book, I had to think about what had really even happened in this first book.Looking at his other books out and their blurbs, this one seems to be set later in the same world as another series he has out. But from the title, I was expecting this book to be a standalone, not the first in another related series. Had I known that, I would have waited, because I don't like to have to wait 8 months for the next book. It was an interesting story and I'd like to know what happens next, but it never hooked me enough to follow for the next release or look at the other books in the world.

Good verses evil about a baby girl born from the rapture induced by a vampire on her mother that finds a bonds with a Dragon. Good read and the next book in almost out.
