Then it was like oh ok, it was the CONNECTS WIFE.MOOK Come on dude. My jaws were tight when he was worried about the wrong thing. The streets are drying up. i want to believe he didnt know how to tell boo's cray cray behind. When boo finds out about his girl. the streets are going to feel his wrath.,Now for my review. Because you're a out of the box thinker most times and I adore your fictionaal writing, the book was fiyah but Boo was a sociopath with obsessive controlling and deadly tendencies. In other words, the brother was insane but so was the book.People suchas Cee exist and instead of getting her own life and man, she's lusting after her "best frineds" man. lmaa at him putting her in her place. I cannot wait until THE CONNECT open her eys and see whats in front of her.Treasure is a a treasure of a friend and she's on the money with being afraid of boo's crazy a.s.s. Not going to lie, as well as i enjoyed the book, i personally feel the title could of been something a tad bit different. As you read the ending, thou, people will see the meaning. I see you on your grind too :0

They def started from the bottom and they made it to the top. I fell in love with these characters, boo loved Samia and he loved her HARD his love ran deep for his woman as did hers for him! Boo was crazy but he meant well on her behalf. They were Tru Bonnie n Clyde!! Ride or die.. Literally.. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer!! That ending had me like mouth open!!! I'm excited an can't wait for part 2!! Go get your copy of the connect now!! You won't be disappointed

I have to say I agreed with the reviews. I liked this series even though I felt some times certain things were rushed. This book fell a little short for me. I was really confused on the death faking thing and the pregnant woman dying. It was a little too messy for me. Other than that this book could have been great. The fact that this author put something in this book you rarely ever read in urban fiction makes her an author I will look out for. (A young black couple adopting an abused kid) I've been reading her other stories and I feel the more she writes the better she will get. Like I said the book was good until the 4th quarter all the drama to end then an epilogue made the story seemed rush and left so much unresolved.

This story is hilarious, smoking hot, and emotional. Not to mention the hot cowboys and firefighters! I loved getting to know Austin and Sunny. This is a great addition to the Cowboy Way series. Looking forward to seeing what happens next in one of my favorite series. Highly recommend to all fans of hot cowboys, firefighters, and romance.

Quinn Hollister returns home to Larkspur, Montana to spend Christmas with her large family: parents, brothers, sisters and niece. She has been filling in for a professor on leave at Montana State University in Missoula and is looking forward to a two week vacation. Driving through her hometown, Quinn reminiscences about her childhood and especially about a boy that was a friend of her brother Sky. Quinn always loved Caleb McKenzie but their plans to be together fell apart at the end of her high school time. All of these years later, she is still perplexed and hurt about what happened. Quinn has never married and is busy with her career of being an illustrator and writer of children's books as well as filling in as a temporary college professor.Caleb McKenzie was a very good baseball player and was coached by Quinn and Sky's father growing up. He played in college and went on to play in the professional league. Caleb loved Quinn and was also hurt and confused by circumstances that led to the failure of his relationship with Quinn. Caleb has been injured while playing ball and is now facing the future without a baseball career. His marriage has failed and he has custody of his twin five year old sons. He is also in Larkspur for the holidays and is staying in his family's cabin in the mountains along with his sons.Quinn and Caleb meet up again in a sudden snow storm and have no choice but to spend some time together. She is one of my favorite authors and I read all of her books. This novella did not disappoint.

I picked this novella up because I was looking for a story that I could read in one sitting. Novellas are sometimes the perfect choice when life gets crazy and I know I am not going to get a lot of reading time. This is one of the better romance novellas that I have read in a long while. I did find out that the story is actually not a new one since it was actually written in 1997 and appeared in the anthology Upon a Midnight Clear.This was a rather sweet story. Quinn is coming home to her parents ranch for Christmas. She writes and illustrates children's books so she is able to do her work from anywhere. She is really looking forward to spending the holiday with her family. Caleb is coming back to Billings for Christmas to stay with his sister in her cabin along with his 5 year old twin sons. Caleb and Quinn were teenage sweethearts who had been deeply in love. Caleb pursued a career in major league baseball and was married for a time. Quinn has basically remained single in the years since the pair split up. When Quinn finds herself stranded in a cabin with Caleb and his sons during a storm, it starts out very uncomfortable. The pair quickly adjust and wait out the storm.There were no real surprises in this one. That's okay....I didn't need to be surprised. The main issue between the pair was basically a misunderstanding but I can see how each character would have made the assumptions that they did. I liked both Caleb and Quinn and I really liked them as a couple. There is just something about a second chance romance that I adore.If you are looking for a story with a lot of steamy sex, this probably won't be the right one for you. The romance is sweet and heartfelt. The characters are old enough that this romance has a level of maturity that isn't always portrayed in romances. They have both made mistakes in their life and have learned from them. There was just a hint of magical realism thrown in to keep the story quite interesting.I would recommend this novella to anyone looking for a nice holiday romance. Christmas doesn't take over the whole story but it does create a nice backdrop. I would definitely pick up another book written by Mariah Stewart.I received an advance reader edition of this book from Gallery, Threshold, Pocket Books - Pocket Star via NetGalley for the purpose of providing an honest review.

By Pirate2240 Sometimes our best laid plans can often times come up too short. To say that Quinn Hollister and Caleb McKenzie were high school sweethearts would be an understatement. Sometimes you just know you are meant to be with someone despite how others around you may think they know what is best. So it came as quite a surprise when both Quinn and Caleb announced that they wanted to get married just after high school. It was the answer of Quinn's parents that cause them off guard. They felt she was simply too young and immature to understand the complexities of what she was getting into and they felt that she would give up on college simply to be Caleb's new wife. They asked her to wait two years at least before making that decision.But Caleb and Quinn had other plans. They knew what true love knows deep down inside, that they were truly meant to be. Caleb wanted everything perfect for Quinn, to be able to keep her close to her family, to support her dreams and be able to provide for her as a husband should. He had it all laid out perfectly and they agreed to meet together at the cabin without anyone knowing and simply elope before anyone could change their minds. However, heartbreak, tears and more came from that plan and soon they went their own separate ways, knowing that someone in their heart, they were never quite complete again.Christmas has come again to Montana and with it the expectations for the family to gather around and be together. Quinn just didn't expect that Caleb would also be returning home to spend the holiday with his sister Valerie at the McKenzie cabin now that it has been renovated, along with his twin boys. Will a ghost from Christmas past, find a way to unite the two hearts once again and give them the possibility of having their dreams come true?I received If Only In My Dreams by Mariah Stewart compliments of Pocket Star, a division of Simon and Schuster Publishers for my honest review. The story is so bad that it is nearly funny in an unintentional way By Labradorite The story is so bad that it is nearly funny in an unintentional way.Ten years before the story begins, Summer was engaged to the man she loved. Then her hard-hearing aunt, queen of gossip, tells her that rumor has it that Brad, her fiancé, has kissed a girl under the mistletoe (as if that was such a big deal!). Our brain-damaged heroine breaks up with the love of her life without giving him the chance to explain himself! She begins a career in modelling and dates another man who seems as stupid as her. They could therefore be a good match but she wants to break up. Without even popping the question, he buys her an engagement ring and Summer passively accepts the situation because, maybe, that is a sign that God has sent her this man! Now, there is nothing wrong with trusting God but that does not mean that you cannot use your brain and your heart to know what you want in your life: grow up, heroine!Summer is supposed to spend Christmas in California with her new fiancé and his parents, which she dreads. Luckily, the plane that she should take to go the California is cancelled due to a storm and the only flight not cancelled is to Kissing Bridge (!) her hometown in Vermont. Despite the terrible tragedy which happened 10 years ago (remember, a guy kissed a girl under the mistletoe, a real tragedy indeed!) she takes this plane and surprises her mother and her aunt who are happy to see her but nonetheless seem to be in some excruciating crisis. Has one of them discovered that she has cancer or lost her job or what exactly is the problem? The problem - sorry, the tragedy - is that the mother has not won the cookie competition, she is only second! How heart-breaking is that!Ok, I won't tell the end because you get the gist. The characters are shallow and terribly immature. The story is practically non-existent and idiotic. And the language! Even I, a non-native English speaker (sorry for any mistake in this comment by the way) could spot many mistakes. The worst of all is: "could have went" (aaaargh!). And the author does not seem to know the difference between fiancé (a man) and fiancée (a woman), or between "envious" (feeling or showing envy) and "enviable" (arousing or likely to arouse envy). There are other examples but there is no point in listing them.Reading a romance is something you do to relax and take a vacation from your brain, but this story did not relax me at all, it just irritated me because of its low quality. And my brain, which can accept mildly hard-to-believe and not-so-original plots in a romance protested strongly at the sloppiness and sheer stupidity of this one.

Anderson I knew Linda to be an excellent writer from her outstanding non-fiction books on frequencies and law of attraction, so I was looking forward to her creative storytelling. "Christmas Kisses…" is just what I had expected and hoped-for: A delightful, light-hearted romp through the classic challenges of finding true love, amidst family quirks and Holiday Season homecomings. Set in the beautiful, picture-postcard Vermont town of Kissing Bridge Mountain at Christmas time, if you like LOVE, hot chocolate and cookies! -- and who doesn't?! -- you'll love this fun escape... Enjoy! :)

White I was just gonna take a peek at it, cause she's a friend of a friend...... and then I was 50% in. So I thought... well I might as well finish it!Really good read, excellent first novel. Funny and sexy. Nathan is a mean ass but Kalli had him under her thumb from jump. I liked their bickering (I really can't stand sweet sappy romances)... it kept the story going for me. Loved the B story with Nathan's parents, great handling of a serious subject.And the epilogue was great, too! Wonderful job!

It was easy to read and relate to, and I found myself laughing at some parts of the book, especially moments when Kallie and her best friend Shayla were talking.

The banter between Nathan and Kallie was very good. Their "arguments" helped sealed their fate to each other, and they couldn't get enough of each other. This was a story of opposite attract but so glad everything worked out. My heart bleed for Nathan at the hurt and pain he was feeling trying to protect his mom from his dad. I'm glad that Kallie was able to show him a way to make things better for her in the end. I had to laugh at the proposal because it just fit them so well. His mom called Nathan her light and Kallie proved to be the light of both Nathan and his mom Mary's world. I love the friendship and chemistry that Kallie had with Shayla and Mick. Kallie and Shayla reminded me of the friendship/sisterhood that me and my best friend had before she was called to her heavenly home. I thoroughly enjoyed this book because it truly made me laughed and tear up.
