I have read every book she has written and I haven't been disappointed yet.Declan is a musician who isn't looking to settle down. Callie is a badass who is looking to renovate the bar her father left her when he died. When they meet sparks fly but they both fight it...that is until they can't anymore.The passion and love between these two is intense but it is also amazing in that it is a normal kind of love. Nothing super crazy and over the top just the kind of love that focuses on the little things.The banter in the book had me cracking up and I love that we got a little taste of the characters from the with me in Seattle series too cause I miss them!Great book. Can't wait for Charly's story.

Declan is an easy going, talented and sexy musician performing in clubs in New Orleans. Callie is the strong willed, independent new owner of the Odessy where Declan performs. They have an attraction to each other but Callie has her walls up and doesn't need to get involved with a man like Declan. Declan is not a settle down kind of guy. As they get to know each other their walls start to come down. Declan has never known anyone like Callie. He feels things for her he never felt before. Callie feels safe with someone else other then herself for the first time in a very long time. Things are felt but nothing is said out loud. Not talking and miscommunication cause hurt and pain.Kristen Proby draws you in , makes you feel like you are part of the Boudreaux family. I love how you feel like you are right there with the Characters. Love, Love, Love that they visit Seattle and meet old - new friends. Kristen Proby does it again with a fabulous book.

I fall in love with her characters so easily. They’re the kind of women you’d want as your best friends and the kind of men that if you couldn’t have them as your boyfriend, you’d want them as your friends because they’d have your back. Easy Melody was definitely no exception to this. I loved every minute of it. I devoured it way too quickly, but I just couldn’t help myself.Declan and Callie were hot together, but oh so sweet as well. I loved Callie’s fierceness. I love how independent and strong she was, yet there was so much vulnerability in her. Life wasn’t easy for her, but she didn’t let it get her down. Declan, although a playboy of sorts, was so romantic. I loved how protective of Callie he was and how persistent. They were so great for each other.I have always wanted to visit New Orleans, but after reading this series, I am desperate to go. I feel like I can picture it all in my head, but that isn’t enough. I want to experience it firsthand. I absolutely love this series and I cannot wait for more.

24 of 25 people found the following review helpful. Lived up to its promise! Another great book in the series. Can't wait for the next one! By Readsalot Another great addition to the series. After reading Born of Defiance I waited all year for this one. What had been done to Talyn throughout his life because of his lack of caste was sooooooo messed up (and that coming after Dancer's story too!) The fact of Faine, one of my favorite snarky characters, being the direct/indirect cause of all the heartache Talyn had experienced throughout his life by abandoning Talyn's mother for Omira was this HUGE obstacle. Throughout the entire series it had been repeated over and over again that Faine was outcast for running away with a human because he loved her and then she broke his heart - but looking back through the series, it just didn't add up. I really couldn't wait to see how Ms. Kenyon was going to resolve the problem and repair the relationship between Fain, Galene, and their son Talyn. This book did not disappoint! She did a great job with it and managed to add in a new, sympathetic dimension to an old, hated character as well.I love Ms. Kenyon's writing. I've been reading her books since the first of the Dark Hunters and she rarely disappoints. With some of her stories you have to have a strong stomach as Ms. Kenyon uses her writing to exorcise her personal demons of childhood abuse, but she does it not from a point of woe-is-me victimization but of the strength and resilience of the survivors. I love how involved she gets with her characters and their lives, how she makes them feel real by carrying their stories on into the next one; how all of the characters interact and effect one another's lives. Her series are fluid, not static. That being said, if you're not an established fan of the series and come into the middle or at the end with the latest book, you will be totally lost. Read the series from the beginning. You will laugh and you will cry but you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Great Series, Disappointing Book By Michelle Mason I was excited to get Fain's story, but I got frustrated in several ways. This book felt like a second book in a trilogy: just story getting you from point A to point C. You have to have read the series to understand who are the NUMEROUS characters that span the entire story line. I'm a big fan of this series but found it hard to remember and keep straight who was who. Finally, it felt like the story just suddenly stopped. I was shocked when I turned the page and it was the author's bio and not more story. Again, I love this series, but this was not one of the best.

By Mary Elyse Ms Kenyons writing in this series is going the same direction as Dark Hunter series. Trying to add too many characters too fast and not sticking to a story. Both of the series had my intense and dedicated interest while they concentrated on one character and story but as they go they are clearly clones of each other as was evident in the characters from the start anyway. Although I loved the original characters. * Nyk= Acheron etc. And now Julian = Styxx. I lost interest in the last several DH books around The Guardian or Time and Time etc... and BOD was good but BOB was good to start then started down the slippery slope. I was bored about mid way. I will probably continue to read the rest, but like this one, I was waiting for the library book instead of spending 15.00 on an ebook. My bookshelve no longer has the paper or hardbacks. If you're new to the series you will probably love it. But I' m losing interest as I did with her DH series that is the same story only different names. There are still some characters I love though in both yet they don't get much time. I would give it a 3.5 if they had it.

Mad Men Carousel By Sandih29687 Fails to deliver on one level...if you are writing a critique of "The Greatest Series of All Time"--one expects more than a glossing over of favorite episodes. And combining episodes instead of devoting singular episode review. What I like is that he obviously loves MadMen as I do. I will have to look at this with other eyes and compare his with my own. And the symbolism is extraordinary. Will have to re-watch these episodes again comparing my evaluation with Seitz's. Thank you for doing an amazing job.

Normally these sorts of companion books to TV shows are . . . eh, okay at best. But Mad Men Carousel goes above and beyond -- it's excellent. As a die-hard Mad Men fan who has watched the whole series numerous times, I can honestly say that I love this book and highly recommend it.

Although the analyses of some episodes - such as the superb sixth season finale - are disappointing and miss the mark, most discussions are thorough, enriching and thought-provoking. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a better understanding of this superb show.

Sometimes we don't always realize that what we already have is pretty great! I haven't read the rest of the Timeless Anthology this was included in. I plan to look that up and read those ones too. They always put great sets together and this was a good one! Great job Annette as always!Note: I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Caroline is a strong character with many lovely qualities and feels safe with her best friend James, but it takes a scary moment and some unwanted advances from someone else to make her realize her true feelings for her best friend, but is it too late for her to let him know? Loved this short story and for less than $1? A great bargain!

Her best friend works there with her and there friendship grows as things get a little scary. This was a fun story, I wish it had been a little longer.
