1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Talk about craziness! By Anna M. Johnson Maya deserved everything she got in this book. She is a trifling woman spreading a disease around. Then to top it off she's having sex with two brothers. This resulted in her having twin boys by the brothers. Chanel and Sunni are pregnant by the brothers now. I don't see how Troy thought he was going to continue to live when he took it upon himself to kidnap Liberty, Shawnde, and ChaCha. He should have known that Chanel and Rashad would go to hell and back to get those girls back. If he didn't I guess he knows now. Well on to part 3!

I hated how Chanel always abandon her sister, Sunni did the same with the twins that just came from out of nowhere. They put their families last but money first, very irresponsible. Got tired of the none english grammar and name calling. I guess to each it's own.

Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!” ― Robert Louis Stevenson, Treasure Island. ‘Billy’ Bones, Robinson Crusoe, Friday, Lemuel Gulliver, Long John Silver, Captain Flint and the Swiss Family Robinson are just some of the famous fictional castaways featured in Shipwrecked Six Pack, a salty, sea-story lover’s smorgasbord of desert island classics. ABOUT THE AUTHORS Robert Michael Ballantyne (24 April 1825 – 8 February 1894) was a Scottish author of juvenile fiction who wrote more than 100 books. His 1858 novel The Coral Island: A Tale of the Pacific Ocean (1858) is one of the first works of fiction to feature exclusively juvenile heroes. The tale of three boys marooned on a South Pacific island, the only survivors of a shipwreck, was the inspiration for William Golding's dystopian novel Lord of the Flies (1954). Daniel Defoe (c.1660 – 24 April 1731), born Daniel Foe, was an English trader, writer, journalist, pamphleteer, and spy, most famous for his novel Robinson Crusoe, published in 1719. Henry De Vere Stacpoole (9 April 1863 – 12 April 1951) was an Irish author. His best known work is the 1908 romance novel The Blue Lagoon, which has been adapted into movies on five occasions. Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson (13 November 1850 – 3 December 1894) was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer. His most famous works are Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Jonathan Swift (30 November 1667 – 19 October 1745) was an Anglo-Irish satirist, essayist, political pamphleteer (first for the Whigs, then for the Tories), poet and cleric who became Dean of St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. Johann David Wyss (May 28, 1743 - January 11, 1818) was a Swiss author, best remembered for The Swiss Family Robinson (Der schweizerische Robinson). Translator William Henry Giles Kingston (28 February 1814 – 5 August 1880), often credited as W. H. G. Kingston, was an English writer of boys' adventure novels.

I have rad all of these, most as a pre-teen, and Robinson Crusoe was read to me by a parent who felt that children should be read books during their formative years that will shape their tastes. And so did many of these: The Shipwrecked Six Pack contains \Robinson Crusoe, Gulliver's Travels, The Swiss Family Robinson, The Coral Island: A Tale of the Pacific Ocean, Treasure Island and more in this illustrated "Six Pack Classics Book 2" edition for Kindle. Buy these, and find out if your inner child remains within. Read them to yourself, or to anyone you hold dear. R. M. Ballantyne et al are doing a great service to the reading public, reissuing wonderful books at a pittance for your Kindle.

By Don Kidwell Thought I'd browse Amazon (once again) and see what illustrated classics could be had for a song and pass it on. Short of grabbing the freebies put together by a group of volunteers (always an iffy proposal as to quality) you could easily spend a buck or more per title on this grouping if purchased separately, or save yourself the time, trouble and expense by grabbing this collection of classics with both an active table of contents and a nifty image gallery including first edition title pages, fine engravings, author portraits and more. Very good reads and leaves me feeling like I saved myself a fiver even if the package bumps up to 99 cents so I'd call it a deal!

By Rebecca L Rogers ***CURSED Book 1***Wow...Wow...Wow...what an amazing story of love, heartache, passion, resilience, tenacity, betrayal, and agony. Just when I thought I knew what was going on S.J. West threw in a curveball. I was frantically reading, turning page after page to see what happens...to find the answers! What an amazing creative world to follow. I connected with the characters and felt for them as the story progressed.***BLESSED Book 2***How is it possible that I could love Lilly and Brand more than I already did? As their family unit grows to include Malik, Allen and his daughter I wonder if they can all keep her safe. Who is after her and how far will those go who wish to see her dead. What is Lucifer grand plan and how can they stop it? This is another must read by S.J. West. I have fallen on love with this world of vampires, fairies, jinn, werewolves, and even fallen angels and demons...everyone has their role to play so what is hers?***FORGIVEN Book 3***What an amazing story o f true love, faith, and hope. It's always refreshing to find true belief within amazing story. This was a hallelujah end to an amazing series that kept me on edge as I flew through the pages. Definitely a must read as Lilly, Brand and their large family search for a way to stop Lucifer!

This box set is amazing! Angels fallen from heaven, cursed by God and forced to live on Earth. S.J. West has written an incredible fantasy collection that continues past this trilogy. I don't want her to ever stop.

By Emily The main character has some good qualities, but she builds her entire life around a guy she met like, a month ago. She started with a strong resolve and then she turns to jelly. What is the point of having strong principles if you break them the second a you think you love a guy. There are grammatical errors and some of the side characters are very poorly developed. Tara's choices just don't make sense some times. A lot of plot convience. A lot of smut.

Secrets, like troubles, come in threes. When you possess one of either, two more arrive to keep it company. Nerine, a sea nymph of the ancient world, knows too much about both. Each morning, in the chill before the sun’s rising, Nerine and the three Fates stand under the mighty branches of the World Tree, gazing into the depths of the root-girdled Well of Destiny, watching the dooms that must come to pass that day. When the dawn’s visions show Nerine’s lover – shipwrecked and drowning – all her renounced yearning for him rises anew. Surely, as handmaiden to the Fates themselves, she might tilt the odds to give her beloved a chance. Somehow – this day, this morning, this time – Nerine must subvert destiny or lose the companion of her heart forever. Love and coming of age in a mythic Mediterranean where the gods and goddesses of old shape history.

But it also explores a young girl's family life as a godling under the sea, her secret friend and adventures on land, and how she loses all of it to become a handmaiden to the fates. It's a very rich story that shows a lot of understanding of the anxieties and strange feelings one has growing up, even if one is an underwater sea person. It also shows a young woman able to look at herself and understand how she got where she is, and whether she has the strength to do something about it. This should appeal to girls who are fans of Rick Riordan or otherwise entranced by the lives of the gods of ancient Greece. The author does a delightful job of showing an imaginary, ancient world beneath the Mediterranean, as well as life among the Celts and the frozen Northlands.
